I grew up in a small Indiana town called Wakarusa, which is Potawatomi Indian for "knee deep in mud." It is the perfect name for the town because growing up there felt like being stuck in mud. My blog, like me, is eclectic (and gay), covering politics, entertainment, life in DC, and my travels throughout the world.
